FREESTYLE EVENT

This event acts as a direct qualifying competition for the WSWCF World Championship, scheduled for 8-10th November.

According to WSWCF Rules, each country is allowed to send two participants from each country per weight category. This means the top two males and two females per weight category are eligible to compete in the World Championship.

  • The Freestyle competition will consist of two (2) rounds – the first round will be the qualification round (“Qualification”) and the second round will be the final round (“Final”). Five people will qualify for the final round from the initial qualification round. The top three places will be announced, with the top two gaining entry into the World Championship. *In the event that someone cannot attend the event, the next highest placed person will be offered the place instead. (Please be aware of the WSWCF eligibility criteria and requirements before registering to compete - listed below).

  • The maximum performance time given for one Participant in the Qualification round is two (2) minutes. Once the participant steps onto the stage, he is given 30 seconds to start his performance. Performance can be started also quicker, showing a “thumb up” to DJ. Round time will be counted immediately after 30 seconds spent on the stage, or from when the song starts after the “thumb up” signal.

  • The final round is also two minutes, and conducted in the same way as the qualifier.

  • The order of the participants will be drawn randomly.

  • Each Participant may use their own selection of music ( please include this in your registration form)
