Head Tutor / Sport Psychology Consultant: Jamie Geraghty

Jamie holds a MSc Degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology, with over fifteen years coaching experience.

He is also the first athlete to represent Ireland at the WSWCF World Championships in Hong Kong (2019) as well as the WSWCF World Championships in 2022.

His role within the Irish Calisthenics Institution is to deliver our coaching pathway programmes as well as Sport Psychology Services for clubs and individual athletes.

ABOUT

The Irish Calisthenics Institution was created in 2019. This has been developed with the core ethos being to help promote and grow calisthenics as a sport across Ireland.

With the aim to create more clubs throughout Ireland, introduce Coaching Accredited courses to improve the standards in coaching calisthenics across the country and to implement an Athlete Development Pathway within the sport that provides a framework and acts as a guide to coaches.

IQA / Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach: Aaron Fitzpatrick

Aaron holds a BSc Degree in Sports Management, and has been coaching calisthenics for over ten years.

As well as that, he has competed in more competitions than any other athlete in Ireland.

He has represented Ireland in two categories, freestyle as well as power, at the WSWCF World Championships 2022 and 2023 respectively.

His role within the ICI is to provide Internal Quality Assurance, as well as be an external assessor on our coaching courses. He also provides Strength and Conditioning Programmes to athletes across the country, either in person or online.
