Male Endurance Competition

Below are the rules and regulations for the male endurance competition.


Judges

Reps Time will start when the judge says go. The total time of completion of the routine will be recorded. The judge will advise when all Full reps are completed. Judges will announce no rep each time a rep is not completed to standards. ONLY FIRST AND SECOND QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. If first or second refuse space third place will get the place and so on; 

Routine of Movements

Muscle-Ups x 10

Dips x 25

Pull-Ups x 15

Push-Ups x 25

Toes to Bar x 15

Goblet Squats +20% bodyweight x 30

Muscle Up x 10

Athletes will start with arms straight. At the top of the movement they must lock out their arms. No kipping or swinging is allowed. A box will be placed 50cm in front of the athlete to remove excess swing. If the athlete touches the box it is fine. Legs must have no knee bend. No touch from a judge will be used for muscle ups but if the athlete does not lock out completely the reps will not count. 

Causes for NO REP:

  • Any bend or swing in the legs

  • Kipping of the body in any way

  • No Full lockout at the bottom

Dips x 25

Athletes will start with arms locked out. Athletes must bend elbows to 90 degrees or below for rep to count. The pelvis area must not be stationary and athletes may not drop their head. Full lock out at the top of each rep before it is counted. 

Causes for NO REP:

  • Pelvis area does not move

  • Athlete does not lock out

  • Leg kick is used

  • Head dips extremely 

Pull Up x 15

Athletes will start with a pronated grip, roughly shoulder width apart. Athletes must start with a locked out position and finish with their chin above the bar.  

Causes for NO REP:

  • Any bend or swing in the legs

  • Chin does not go above the bar

  • Kipping of the body in any way

  • No Full lockout at the bottom

Push Up x 25

Athletes will start with arms straight. At the top of the movement they must lock out their arms. Body must stay straight with core and glutes engaged. A shoe will be placed under the athletes chest. A rep will only be counted in when the solar plexus touches the shoe.

Causes for NO REP:

  • Any bend or raises in the hips

  • Kipping of the body in any way

  • No Full lockout at the top

  • Bending of the legs

  • Body breaking from straight line

  • Solar plexus doesn't touch the shoe

Toe to Bar x 15

Athletes will start with straight arms at the start of the movement. Legs may have a slight bend throughout the movement. Arms may have a slight bend throughout the movement. Rep is completed when feet make contact with that bar.

Causes for NO REP:

  • Kipping of the body in any way

  • Excessive Bending of the legs

  • Excessive Bending of the arms

  • Excessive swinging 

Goblet Squats +20%BW X 30

Athletes must start with feet roughly shoulder width. Heels must stay on floor throughout the rep. Athletes must to 90 degrees or lower for rep to count. Weight must be held infront of the body inline with the chest or shoulders. Weight must nit be over head or behind the head. Athletes must lock out at the top of each rep. 

Causes for NO REP:

  • Heels coming off the floor

  • Kettle bell falling below or above chest/shoulder level

  • No Full extension of the knees and hips
